I moved three times in my entire life. The first two moves were a complete disaster. The first time I ended up paying 4 times as much as the estimate. The second time the moving company both overcharged me an destroyed half of my furniture,
I was sure I was going to go through another nightmare before this move and frankly my expectation from your industry is really low. The reason I wanted a flat price for the move was because I wanted to avoid all the extra charges that moving companies seem to have but I was a little bit skeptical when I received your guaranteed price. I guess after you’ve been burnt twice its difficult to place you trust in a moving company again. I am happy to say I trusted the right company this time. Everything was exactly as promised. The movers never once tried to increase the price. They had the agreement with them, they took to items I wanted them to take, packed what I wanted them to pack, and charged me exactly what was agreed upon. I joked with my wife and told her: so when is it going to go wrong? But nothing went wrong your guaranteed price was exactly what I paid.
Its good to know that there are moving companies out there that work differently.
