How To Pack Your Computer

How to pack a computer system?

It is recommended to backup all important files and place the backup in a separate box.

Packing a computer before your move may look complicated; however this is a very easy task that can be done in about half an hour. It is always recommended to use the original box and other protective materials provided when the computer was purchased, but you can use other packing materials if you do not have the original box
   -   It is necessary to use a thick corrugated box with enough room for extra protection.
   -  Remove all old shipping labels existing one the box.
   - Use bubble wrap or any other soft packing material and wrap the computer.
   -  pack all other parts of your computer separately (mouse keyboard and other                                 peripherals).
   -  Make sure all spaces in the box are filled with soft materials.
   - The computer should be packed in the box in the way it can not move.
    - Use PVC tape (pressure sensitive) to seal the box.
   -  Mark the box as "FRAGILE" on all sides.

 Packing your Monitor

Monitors are fragile; it is important to protect them since they screen is made out of glass.
If the original monitor box is not available get a box that is almost the same size as the screen. Use bubble wrap and other cushioning soft materials to make sure that the screen is not moving within the box.

 Packing your Printer

Again if the original box is not available use a suitable box to pack the printer. Use bubble wrap all around the printer and cushion the box in away the printer is not moving.
